Video Production Manager
We're looking for an experienced Cinematographer/Video Editor to join a tight-knit team of creative professionals and extraordinary technologists. A successful candidate will be a strategic thinker and skilled communicator with a consistent track record of planning and implementing their own workflow with a highly collaborative team. This is a site-based role.
Description
As the Video Production Manager, you'll be part of a content team focused on delivering customer-facing content for key Apple initiatives. Responsibilities include: • Supports Producer(s) and assists the team by focusing on schedules, crew needs and the overall efficiency of studio operations • Works closely with the team in gathering information and tracking progress against approved milestones. • Anticipates bottlenecks, clarifies project priorities, identifies risks, and escalates issues that cannot be internally resolved. • Clearly defines all workflows, communicates documented processes, and ensures all practices are being refined and tuned with learning • Supports the reconciliation of video production actuals • Supports in building video production budgets • Identifies processes that can improve project efficiency and act as a change agent for them. • Leverages network of vendors and crews to support productions
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Production Manager (Commercials, Live TV, Digital, etc.)
- Strong project management skills - extremely organized and proficient with the paperwork aspects of physical production
- Experience building callsheets and managing actuals (receipts, PC, P Card, etc.)
- Proactive with an ability to multitask and work on multi projects concurrently as deadlines and/or scope shift
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to support and oversee process handbooks and guidelines
- Comfortable assigning daily tasks to production coordinator and assistants
- Work closely with cross-functional partners in Finance
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,500 and $249,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
