Description

The University Recruiter is responsible for attracting, identifying, assessing, and securing talented graduates and undergraduates from universities and colleges for intern and co-op roles within our organization. This professional will partner closely with academic institutions, university career services, and internal departments to build a robust pipeline of early-career talent. The ideal candidate will have a passion for candidate experience, talent development, and a strategic mindset for campus engagement. Key duties include conducting virtual or on-campus interviews, organizing information sessions, and arranging recruitment events to engage potential candidates. The recruiter will partner closely with hiring managers to gain a thorough understanding of skill requirements, thereby ensuring candidate interests align with organizational goals. Active participation is required at career fairs, industry conferences, and university networking events to enhance our brand presence and attract prospective employees. The employee will screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and manage all aspects of candidate communication throughout the recruitment process. Coordination with internal teams is essential to streamline candidate assessments and interviews effectively. Furthermore, the role demands a commitment to ensuring a positive candidate experience by delivering timely feedback and maintaining clear communication at all stages. The University Relations Recruiter will also track and report on crucial recruitment metrics, including pipeline development and hiring success rates, to continually refine strategies. Involvement in internship and co-op programs is expected, encompassing responsibilities such as onboarding and implementing ongoing program enhancements, collecting feedback and making hiring recommendations. Lastly, collaboration with colleagues is vital to consistently improve recruitment processes and tools, fostering an innovative, positive and efficient hiring environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related experience.
  • 5 years in university recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably within a corporate or large organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with emerging trends in talent acquisition and student workforce planning.
  • Ability to partner close with hiring managers and senior level leaders on priorities and team needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel to universities and attend events, if required.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,900 and $255,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
