Apple's Services team is seeking an experienced, analytical, and entrepreneurial individual to help significantly grow our first party video streaming subscription services. The position involves managing large TV business strategic projects to successfully execute the growth plan. You will regularly interface with senior executives and collaborate closely with cross functional teams throughout Apple and our third party partners to implement programs that achieve business objectives. The role requires a highly-motivated and adaptive self-stater with a deep understanding of the digital video and streaming space excited to work with multiple internal and external teams.

Description

In this role, you will work as a part of TV business, the team driving business engagements and partnerships between Apple and external partners to grow first party paid video subscription and revenue. You will lead the end to end implementation of multiple mid-to-large scale video initiatives with overlapping timelines, coordinate all phases of projects including: planning, project scope definition, resource forecasting and allocation, business requirement documentation, project timeline, overall project documentation and communications (status, risks, scope changes, etc.), go to market and go-live as well as, retrospectives, and closeout. You will be responsible for managing and scaling key projects necessary to execute successful initiatives and representing the TV business in the development of technical integration of features and partnerships, from onboarding to managing ongoing success. You will contribute to planning and overseeing the defined strategy with cross functional teams and clearly and regularly update on progress and future proposals to senior leaders. You will collaborate with teams across Apple - business development, product, marketing, engineering and more - to ensure technical and business objectives are met.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of meaningful experience in media and/or digital video streaming
  • Consistent record of successfully managing complex business and technical projects with both 3rd parties and cross-functionally within a global organization
  • Deep understanding of subscription bundles, video operations, and video streaming landscape
  • Direct experience managing large scale projects and programs growing subscription business
  • Strong project management capability with exceptional attention to detail;
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent working experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous project or program management experience with a streaming business, subscription service, TV OEM, MVPD, preferred
  • Self-starter with a hands on attitude, comfortable managing conflicting priorities while delivering results with minimal guidance from planning to go live
  • Experience collaborating with product, engineering and other cross functional teams ensuring scope is continuously understood by all relevant parties, project objectives are being met, and that the technical solutions being implemented are as scalable as possible.
  • Ability to coordinate interrelated projects and drive continuous improvements
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment through respecting each others' differences and having the curiosity to learn and grow.
  • Communicate effectively and transparently across all levels of leadership within the services organization, and drive discussions proactively when additional attention and focus is required.
  • Proactively build strong relationships with partner teams both inside and outside of the organization, and use these strengths to positively influence the tv business initiatives roadmap
  • Strong analytical skills, confident leveraging metrics from multiple dashboards and analyzing project impact metrics
  • Energetic and collaborative teammate who never loses focus on the customer experience

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,100 and $206,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
