Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design, create, and maintain automated testing of Apple server software backing all customer facing store fronts (i.e. App Store, Apple Music, Fitness +, etc.). Perform functional, regression, ad hoc and compatibility testing of the App Store on MacOS, iOS, tvOS and Windows. Involve in bug reporting and isolation, test plan documentation, writing test case automation and work with other teams (engineering, project management, etc.). Analyze test case design and diagnose bugs, and test/regress high volume of changes on a day-to-day basis. Implement automated tests in an existing framework and perform end-to end black box testing with a focus on customer experience. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $194,875 - $248,700/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree of foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and five years of post-baccalaureate and progressive experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- Python
- API Black Box Testing
- Testing RESTful API's
- Mac OS X and internet protocols
- Experience traversing Unix directory structures and using basic Unix commands to scrape log files
- Internet protocols, web proxies, and caching
