- Proficiency in mechanical CAD (NX, etc.), data analysis in Python or Matlab, shell scripting, test automation
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant work experience, with a significant portion in validation of consumer products involving complex opto-mechanical and/or electro-optical systems
- Deep understanding of the interplay between various sub-systems (e.g., optics, displays, sensors, computer vision algorithms) and their collective impact on overall user experience and system performance
- Experience with the full product development lifecycle, from initial concept and architecture through to mass production
- Demonstrated expertise in validation of one or more relevant sub-system domains: advanced display technologies, optical systems, sensor integration, computer vision pipelines for interaction
- Familiarity with mechanical fundamentals like thermal expansion, creep, resonant modes
- Experience developing motion trajectories for robotic arm systems, setting up machine vision systems for measurement and calibration
