Our team is looking for a systems engineer to integrate and test of communications systems. You will define, drive, and complete on large scale test plans that rigorously validate each system component and their integration together into the larger system. Plan and coordinate the activities among many cross-functional teams, testbed and production platforms. Additionally, you will work with the team to ensure consistency across the various systems, identify gaps in test coverage, and streamline testing by optimizing and harmonizing activities across system components. Description
We're looking for a Systems engineer who: - is proficient at understanding both the critical low-level details and the big-picture context of a project - will plan and implement integration and test campaigns at system component and higher system levels - will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams covering a diverse set of technical domains - will clearly document system test plans and communicate to leadership, peers and other team members - will transform complex technical information into effective narratives suitable for a broad range of team members - will work independently to identify, track and reduce risk across the system
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in systems engineering or related experience
- BS Physics, or Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree
- Experience on integration & test campaigns of a complex system
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years experience in RF, communications, mobile network, or systems engineering
- MS/PhD Physics, or Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree
- Experience or leadership on integration & test campaigns of communications systems
- Experience in coding test software and scripts
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-team environment. Able to work through ambiguity.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills, and solid teamwork & leadership skills.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
