Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Research, develop, and implement data-driven supply chain strategies to optimize costs, quality, diversity, supply, and mitigate risk across Apple's products and services. Create custom supply chain data solutions for Apple. Standardize and streamline business processes across Apple teams for reporting supplier plan of record, cost, liability, financial health and risk. Project costs and capacity for projects based on a series of complex assumptions. Drive internal and external resourcing decisions based on project roadmap and internal priorities. Identify and prioritize supply chain risk mitigation plans. Identify suitable countries for Apple manufacturing by modeling macroeconomic, demographic, and other market data. Develop an in-depth understanding of the operational landscape and risks for various countries. Collaborate with Apple teams and government officials to mitigate operational risks and enable Apple manufacturing. Coordinate risk mitigation alignment among cross-functional teams. Negotiate and close executive contracts for Apple Suppliers, contractors, consultants. Coordinate personnel and interview potential future talent to ensure resource allocation aligns with business needs. Develop talent and drive a culture of success and innovation while overseeing a team managing several commodities spanning multiple lines of Business within Apple. International Travel up to 10%. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,400 - $248,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Management, Business Administration, or related business field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- Building financial models for sourcing strategies.
- Create and effectively implement bottoms-up Should Cost Models for various commodities and services.
- Negotiating commercial and legal terms with external executives and business owners.
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools for stakeholder presentations.
- Lead a cross-functional team of Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and trade compliance on various sourcing projects.
- Project programmatic costs to enable strategic long-term decisions.
- Understanding of domestic and international nuances including culture, economic conditions, tax and import/export rates and laws such as tariffs, VAT rates, and HS Codes.
- Identifying and evaluating operational risks to minimize impact to product delivery.
- Translating macro-economic indicators and Supplier financial data into usable metrics.
