This role offers an exciting opportunity to support sophisticated software features that serve over one billion customers across major Apple platforms including iPhone, CarPlay, macOS, and HomePod. We are looking for candidates with experience, passion, and a track record in shipping responsible technology on a cadence schedule. The ideal candidate for this role will have extraordinary program management skills, love organization, and have a passion for shipping ML products.

Description

As an Engineering Program Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution of Siri & AIML operations by managing status reporting, operational processes, and cross-functional communications. You will: - Own and drive weekly program status reporting, including setup, archival, and communications to cross-functional teams. - Maintain alignment and accountability across Engineering and EPM partners by setting clear deadlines, sending reminders, and ensuring timely submission of materials. - Partner with engineering program managers to keep project tracking tools up-to-date and aligned with key deliverables. - Continuously improve workflows within internal tools, including the integration of structured data from systems to streamline reporting and reduce manual effort. - Prepare executive-facing content for weekly organizational meetings, collaborating with leadership to shape messaging and ensure strategic alignment. - Provide operational support (including templates and materials) for major planning and milestone events (e.g., executive reviews, developer conferences), in close coordination with release management and cross-functional partners. - Act as the point of contact for driving consistency across deliverables, timelines, and documentation standards by liaising with software engineering partners and operations teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related fields like Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or an equivalent level of additional industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software program or project management, with a proven track record of leading and successfully shipping multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong ability to drive critical project features involving integration across multiple teams, bringing structure to complexity and balancing competing priorities in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Solid knowledge of software development practices, with excellent attention to detail and a focus on delivering results across cross-functional efforts.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to drive clarity and alignment among diverse partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience shipping AI/ML projects
  • Experience with Atlassian tools
  • Experience building or scaling internal operational processes or reporting frameworks within large organizations

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $157,000 and $278,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
