A great PM is the beating heart of their team-driving alignment, clearing ambiguity, and pushing for quality every step of the way. Create an execution plan that accounts for product priorities and engineering feasibility, adapting it as the project progresses. Ensure all teams have clear expectations of deliverables across engineering, design, product, and data science, ensuring these land on time with high-quality, and using program skills to escalate and mitigate when things go off track. Drive the definition of priorities, scope, and success metrics while balancing technical feasibility with user value. Evaluate user experiences critically by becoming a user expert, and translating pain-points into plans for refinement. Communicate status, risks, and trade-offs clearly across teams and leadership, providing informed recommendations and options alongside issues.
