Description
This role is responsible for working closely with the developers and other test engineers to help test all Maps App features iOS. macOS, watchOS, and visionOS. Our team produces test documents, executes and analyzes data, conducts bug triaging, leads testing procedures, and ensures the success of new feature development. We partner with cross-functional development teams to ensure that our Maps organization ships the highest quality application possible. Success on our team means you can quickly grasp and distill technical information to deliver clear, precise and detailed test documents and plans.
Minimum Qualifications
- Obsession over the customer experience.
- Possess knowledge and real-world experience with software integrity and quality assurance concepts: test planning, test case definitions, test execution, and problem analysis.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills with an ability to identify, diagnose, regress and debug issues thoroughly.
- Experience leading execution of test cases. Reporting clear, concise, and actionable results/data to various technical and functional teams.
- Ability to define test strategies across platforms, technologies and devices. Documenting test cases for newly defined and legacy features.
- Self-driven attitude, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile and dynamic
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to triage automation results, report and escalate issues appropriately to the different cross-functional teams.
- Ability to learn new technologies independently and bring new perspectives to our team.
- Comfortable collaborating with all levels of engineering, product, and testing teams to help with new feature bring-up and validation.
- Bachelor's Degree in related field of study, or equivalent industry experience.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $112,900 and $234,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
