We are looking for a Software Engineering Project Manager (EPM) to lead human study data collection initiatives that support the development and validation of cutting-edge health sensors and algorithms. Description

We are seeking a dynamic Software EPM with a strong background in data and infrastructure development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software engineering practices, data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and data management frameworks. You will work closely with engineers, data scientists, and other key partners to ensure that data-related initiatives are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic business goals. This role requires both technical expertise and strong leadership to drive complex projects from start to finish and ensure team success. This is a site-based role.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of project management experience, leading complex, multi-functional software projects
  • 2+ years in driving technical roadmap and strategy for data platform and analysis
  • Experience working with and managing external test sites and/or vendors
  • Proven success leading large-scale data and infrastructure projects within software engineering or technology development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong leadership with the ability to guide teams through ambiguity, provide clear direction, and challenge ideas while maintaining alignment with strategic goals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to engage effectively with technical teams, cross-functional collaborators, and executive leadership.
  • Foster good engineering best practices to deliver quality software that adhere to privacy, security, and clinical compliance and safety guideline
  • Experience in management, R&D, or consumer product development is a plus
  • Experience in clinical research is helpful but not required

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
