Our team, Clinical Health Platform, focuses on platform experiences around obtaining, understanding, and sharing a user's clinical health data. We have previously built features like Clinical Health Records, Clinician Sharing, Labs and Medications. We're looking for an exceptional software engineering leader to guide the development of new health software features on iPhone, iPad and Watch. Key Qualifications
- Note: We don't require that you have experience with all of this to begin with, but it is directly relevant to the role
- 3+ years experience leading software engineering teams
- Track record demonstrating the ability to build a diverse and strong team - attracting, hiring, retaining, motivating the best talent
- Successfully launched high quality consumer products and care deeply about product excellence
- Passion for and prior experience designing and implementing outstanding user interfaces and customer experience
- Technical experience with native iOS development and a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals
- Drive forward through various constraints and ambiguity on difficult problems to make sound decisions
- Highly organized, someone who thrives working in a fast-paced environment, and loves learning new technologies
- Obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seeks to solve everyday problems in innovative ways
- Poses excellent communication skills and can influence cross functionally
- An understanding and passion for medical concepts is a plus
Description
As manager of the team you'll have the opportunity to work with experts in their field to build new and expand on existing Health features on iPhone, iPad and Watch. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong technical, communication, and project management skills to handle responsibilities including: - Defining product features, functional specs, resource planning, and development schedules - Scoping and prioritizing features and bug fixes - Representing the team and its technology in technical and project meetings - Advise and encourage engineering best practices to deliver quality features - Define and grow a diverse and world class engineering team
Education & Experience
BS Computer Science or equivalent experience. Various experience levels encouraged to apply.

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $210,900.00 and $316,900.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
