The Creativity Apps team is looking for an iOS engineering manager to build a team of engineers and lead development of applications for creative pros and enthusiasts. You'll be working with the world-class teams behind Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, iMovie, GarageBand, and iWork to create the next-generation of tools for creators.
Description
The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, people management, and a desire to help shape the product roadmap. You will be working closely with Machine Learning, Product, Design, QA, and engineering teams at all levels of the stack. In addition to engineering management, you should have experience in iOS development, have a keen eye for the user experience, and be able to drive product definition from concept all the way to delivery.

Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in software engineering, including experience as a lead
- 3+ years of experience as an engineering manager
- Proven background in iOS development using Swift or Objective-C
- Committed to encouraging and open and inclusive working environment
- Established pattern of building high-performing engineering teams - hiring, growing, and retaining the best engineers
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of engineers, managers, and cross-functional partners
- BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Creator enthusiasm - photography / videography / music production preferred
- Experience collaborating with machine learning teams
- Experience using and designing native client analytics APIs
- Passion for software modularization and creating reusable, composable components
- SwiftUI experience
- Contributions to applications in the iOS / macOS App Store - either your own or your organization's
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $198,300 and $342,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
