In this role you will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting systems presenting apple product catalog to millions of users worldwide. You will work closely with our business leaders and other partners to implement new solutions. The candidate must be able to work independently, understand the needs and build the solutions for sophisticated architecture and comfortable working under pressure at times.

Description
Develop and maintain highly reliable, scalable, and maintainable enterprise applications that can match Apple volumes Understand requirements, engage with team members, multi-functional teams and project managers to define solutions, and estimate the scope of work required Collaborate with and influence members within your team and across other teams at Apple Deliver solutions that can keep up with a rapidly evolving product in a timely fashion Review technical designs and perform code review with a focus on operational efficiency and performance optimization. Ability to successfully multi-task and support multiple, concurrent projects
Minimum Qualifications
- More than 5 years of experience in designing and developing scalable enterprise grade solutions
- Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment where ambiguity and short turnaround schedules are the norm
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or information technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot and Microservices with efficient design patterns, data structures and algorithms
- Experience in designing relational data models to meet functional requirements and future scalability needs
- Experience in rolling out distributed, large-scale, low latency web applications with REST, Data Caching Services, DB schema design and data access technologies
- Experience in designing and architecting distributed systems and implementing concurrent programming with a focus on performance
- Familiarity with security concepts to build reliable and safe distributed applications
- Experience with NoSQL datastore integration
- Experience with implementing ephemeral and stateless systems is a nice-to-have
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
