The Reminders team at Apple is looking for talented iOS App developers to join a small team of highly skilled engineers to build world class applications across all of Apple's platforms. As a member of our team, you'll build features for releases, prototype new feature concepts, and make sure our users always have an extraordinary experience.

Description

You must be comfortable with constantly evolving requirements, and have excellent interpersonal skills. Throughout the process, you will work collaboratively with our world-class team of engineers, partner with designers, and coordinate with other teams at Apple including the iOS, macOS, and watchOS teams.

Responsibilities

    This position requires a self-motivated engineer with strong technical and communication skills to handle responsibilities including:
  • Implementing new features using Apple Intelligence.
  • Prototyping new ideas to help with initial feature definition.
  • Communicating ideas to the Apple design team and other multi-functional teams.
  • Participating in architecture and code reviews.
  • Exploring new frameworks and technologies and how they can aid in introducing new features.
  • Building internal tools as needed to help ship high quality software.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience programming mobile applications.
  • 2+ years of experince programming with Swift and/or Objective-C design patterns.
  • Ability to write performant and accurate multi-threaded code.
  • Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related subject area, or we may consider an equivalent industry experience.
  • Passion for quality and attention to detail.
  • Ability to independently learn new technologies.
  • Outstanding ability to identify and resolve sophisticated problems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in prompt engineering and developing features using large language models.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
