We are in search of a native iOS and/or macOS applications engineer to deliver world class Tips and Help applications across the Apple ecosystem. Key Qualifications

  • Proficient in Swift, SwiftUI, and/or Objective-C.
  • Experience creating complex and performant user interfaces with UIKit, AppKit, or SwiftUI.
  • Experience in TDD, performance optimizations, and object-oriented design.
  • Excellent communication skills working with a diverse technical and non-technical team.
  • Strong attention to detail with a consistent delivery of large scale projects.

Description

As an applications developer on the Instructional Products Engineering team, you will be responsible for architecting the internal and developer-facing features and interfaces used to deliver contextual instructional content to Apple's end users. You will be engineering innovative software that helps educate users about new features in the OS, system apps, and services. In this position, you will have the unique opportunity to work with a variety of teams across a broad array of Apple's deliverables. Additionally, you'll connect with Apple's world class human interface team, as well as regularly work with our instructional designers, graphic designers, and localizations teams. We are looking for an experienced native iOS and/or macOS applications and frameworks developer to collaboratively architect and engineer cutting edge solutions for delivering world class instructional products and contextual user assistance. Join the enterprising team responsible for the apps and interfaces that deliver help and dynamic user assistance on iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS. Our team develops the content delivery software that enables Apple customers to learn about and make the most of the software and devices they own. Our team works closely with system applications teams to improve the discoverability of the features they create.

Education & Experience

You will need strong software engineering fundamentals - including an understanding of architecture, daemons, and concurrency - to be successful in this role, but a specific degree or concentration is not required.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
