Description
The Developer Publications Intelligence team is looking for an engineer with and interest for Machine Learning and the tools that power ML features. Candidates should have a background in both Machine Learning as well as software development skills. Members of this team can expect to be working with software engineers and data scientists to build tools to support the training and deployment of ML models ML Model features. In addition they can expect to interact with designers to guide and drive the product story, partner with teams in parts of the company interested in leveraging ML, and working with project managers to align the work of the team to the needs of our internal clients. Candidates should ideally be product-minded, data-driven, and excited to push themselves to deliver the best work for themselves.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven track record to comprehend, interpret, and apply innovative research into customer-oriented products, particularly developer tools
- BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfortable working cross-functionally, bringing together multiple fields and expertise
- Proficiency using open-source ML toolkits and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenNMT)
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $126,800 and $190,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
