Description
The Software Engineer will architect, design, and implement scalable and maintainable web applications for FileMaker database that incorporate AI functionalities while working with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time. Other responsibilities will include: • Integrate machine learning LLM models and AI algorithms into web applications. Ensure seamless functionality and optimal performance. • Provide guidance and best practices for software development, particularly in integrating AI within a web app environment. • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Perform code reviews and enforce standards and best practices within the team. • Develop and maintain robust testing frameworks, ensuring the reliability and performance of AI-driven features. Lead deployment strategies that facilitate continuous integration and delivery. • Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure that AI features enhance the user experience without compromising on usability or accessibility. • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in web technologies and AI. Propose and develop innovative solutions to improve current systems and processes.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master is a plus.
- Minimum two years of experience in software development, with a focus on web applications. Demonstrated experience integrating AI/ML components is highly desirable.
- Proficient in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience working with libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Familiarity with cloud services and platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for deploying AI models.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges and devise innovative solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, share knowledge, and support your colleagues.
- Familiar with FileMaker database and server
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Contributions to open-source projects related to web development or AI.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
