Description
APPLE INC has the following available in San Diego, California. Design, develop and test automation frameworks for Apple software. Identify, debug and resolve issues with Apple video products. Design, develop and triage automated tests for Apple video products across Apple platforms. Qualify new features in the Apple TV applications across Apple platforms. Coordinate with global cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, project management throughout software development cycle. Document comprehensive test plans for both new and existing features. Evangelize best practices for software testing and strive for quality products. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $177,154 - $250,600/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field and five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- Python Programming (or other object-oriented programming languages)
- Apple OS platform experience - iOS, macOS
- Network analysis and debugging - Wireshark or Charles Proxy
- Issue tracking and debugging - Jira (or equivalent tracker)
- Experience with server-side logging tools - Splunk
- Performance analysis and debugging
