Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Developed and maintained software framework used for iOS / watchOS / macOS for telephony system service including CS, VoLTE, VoWifi, and SIP. Including writing unit tests to maintain system quality. Designed the critical paths of key VoLTE/ VoWifi features by adding new features to the Telephony IMS framework. Wrote extensible code to deal with the different architectures and models of devices using modern C++ programming language and test-driven approaches to write robust software. Communicated and collaborated closely with cross functional hardware and software teams to launch new features for iOS / watchOS / macOS devices. Showed strong ownership and leadership abilities to drive features to completion to be delivered on time with quality. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,931 - $214,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. PAY & BENEFITS: Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Education and/or experience must include:
  • Ability to write C++, Objective C code to work on multi-language codebases
  • Design project code in an object-oriented manner to function across different hardware and network carriers
  • Apply computer science concepts such as data structures, inheritance and polymorphism.
  • Maintaining existing codebase to take on new work in different parts of the system.
  • Use Boost. Test or XCTest to write unit testing for software changes
  • Use GitHub for code management
