Description

APPLE INC has the following available in San Diego, California. Software development and bug fixing for a wide range of Apple products. Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features and improve user experience. Contribute to Airplay software stack on Apple products and third-party products. Develop Airplay features using JavaScript and Node.js. Analyze root causes and resolve Airplay customer issues. Unit testing and regression testing of JavaScript code. Contribute to code reviews. Develop and maintain Airplay tooling. Collaborate with the team on key project decisions. Daily duties include Bug fixing in Airplay code, JavaScript code development, unit testing, participating in code reviews, and completing documentation. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 - $204,000/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. PAY & BENEFITS: Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Education and/or experience must include each of the following:
  • Computer science background including algorithms, data structures and Computer Networks.
  • Programming with C or C++ .
  • Application development using JavaScript for Node.js .
  • Experience with JavaScript Test Frameworks, Chai and Sinon.
  • Experience with UI design and development.
  • Experience in App development using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with design patterns, enterprise architecture and software engineering principles.
  • Experience with OpenGL or Other Graphics API.
