Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Implement large-scale secure systems on cloud platforms that address the user authentication and the user authorization needs to suit Apple's organization-wide security posture that entails preparing technical documentation for system architecture, API design and UI/Usability. Dive into microservices architecture to propose scalable and maintainable solutions capable of handling, storing, and retrieving engineering by-products. Leverage the underlying networking concepts such as HTTPS, TCP/IP, DNS, and routing through Python Web Frameworks to achieve a distributed master-slave implementation to serve client requests for resources and services. Automate for deployment, monitoring, and upgrade of cloud infrastructure and validation at multiple levels using programming constructs. Integrate deployed services with state-of-the-art logging and monitor computing resources, profiling of microservices, servers on a service level. Participate in troubleshooting web services, container technologies, and distributed systems, during software development and maintenance. Utilize knowledge in cloud computing and the full network stack to diagnose, identify and resolve software defects. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 - $264,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- Utilizing Jenkins, TravisCI, Cruise Control or Bamboo for administrating continuous integrations service
- Performing system administration of Linux systems for distributed systems architecture
- Using Python and groovy for software development
- Using configuration management tool such as chef, puppet or ansible for managing distributed systems at large scale, configuration management tools
- Using continuous monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk and Nagios
- Using Atlassian communication tools such as JIRA, hipchat, and confluence for writing technical documentation, user workflows and presentations
- Using Git-based source code versioning tools such as bitbucket, gitlab, or github
