Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Maintain and augment adversarial illicit app web crawler. Monitor for fraud adaptation, and reverse engineering newly discovered illicit apps to find out how they were signed. Scope and prioritize engineering plans to mitigate emerging adaptations. Provide policy insights and recommendations to mitigate emerging adaptations. Generate fraud leads reports for Trust and Safety Operations (T&S Ops) team, and provide quarterly reporting on performance metrics. Maintain and augment TestFlight fraud detection automated system. Scope and prioritize engineering plans to mitigate emerging adaptations. Provide policy insights and recommendations to mitigate emerging adaptations. Maintain and augment client frameworks including DeviceCheck and AppAttest. Scope and prioritize engineering plans to support platform updates and new feature requests. Address performance bug fixes and security vulnerabilities. Onboard internal stakeholders and grant Systems Programming Interface (SPI) access. Provide quarterly reporting, ad hoc analytics, and general operational support. Conduct ad hoc analytics to help team's business partners answer critical business questions using data only we have access to. Construct and execute queries in order to report on quarterly performance metrics updates. Help train new operations partners on how to use our self-serve operations tooling. Help execute operational tasks on behalf of partners who don't have sufficient system-level access to take those actions themselves. Interview job candidates for roles on our team. Conduct phone screens and on-site interviews. Provide feedback. Create and review candidate screening plans for roles. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 - $264,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Using AWS cloud services technologies to run automated anti-fraud detection and decisioning.
  • Utilizing big data analytics tools, including Spark, Jupyter notebooks, Tableau, Snowflake, to conduct anti-fraud investigations
  • Utilizing Python Django framework and JavaScript web app development tools for the purpose of maintaining and augmenting a portfolio of web UI tools
  • Utilizing and administering MySQL and Cassandra database technologies to manage automated and manual workflows
  • Conducting adversarial web crawling of illicit app distribution sites on the dark web
  • Utilizing Objective-C and Swift for iOS/macOS/watchOS/tvOS/visionOS framework development
  • Utilizing Objective-C and Swift for iOS/macOS/watchOS/tvOS/visionOS UI App development
  • Utilizing UML flow charts and sequence diagrams to communicate highly technical system design proposals
  • Utilizing public key cryptography to ensure secure software design and implementation of anti-fraud frameworks and services
