Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design and develop optimum data structure and data-centric software solutions to help Apple drive better business decisions. Drive data, software, and AI/ML solutions at Apple's Global Business Intelligence group. Identify problem areas, suggest and deliver scalable solutions leveraging global big data platforms. Collaborate with multi-functional teams and business groups. Design and implement optimum data structures in the appropriate data management systems like Snowflake, Teradata, Oracle, Hadoop, Singlestore, or other Big Data Technologies. Build infrastructure as code and leverage cloud services to design and develop applications on public cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud or Azure. Build robust data pipelines and models; process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis. Design and develop restful APIs to enable integration between systems and provide data as a service for users and applications. Extract and process data using Python and Spark; develop complex SQL programs and reusable components. Perform complex data analysis with large volumes of data using Python, R, Spark and associated libraries. Design, develop, and build reports and data visualizations using SAP Business Objects, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or Dremio. Work closely with enablement teams on building internal platforms to improve the accessibility of data, technologies, and computational resources to support machine learning and advanced analytics. Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to build new metrics and analysis tools. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $226,158 - $312,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. PAY & BENEFITS: Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science and Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Build robust data pipelines and interfaces
  • Python Programming
  • Cloud Platform and Services
  • Development of Complex SQL
  • Business Intelligence Tool Expertise
  • Data Science and Machine Learning
  • Develop reusable modules with coding standards
