Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs for Apple's personal assistant - Siri. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Work on core machine learning algorithms and models that are part of Siri's ability to understand and respond to natural language requests such as Siri can understand and execute the command that a customer requests iPhone to perform, a customer's command in multiple languages mixed, and complex requests that are mixes of information search and command. Maintain coding and documentation standards, participate in code reviews according to Apple's internal coding standards and API documentation requirements, both internal and public. Participate in understanding customer feedback and fix issues reported by customers such as feedback that comes from Apple's internal testing program and Seed release customer feedback programs. They usually contain the descriptions of bugs or functional deficiencies. Interface with various teams to define requirements, interfaces, and implementation approaches such as teams that include Operation System, Quality Assurance, and Internationalization. Design and build fault-tolerant, high-performance, privacy-preserving, next-generation Siri which enhances the human-computer interaction, allowing customers to obtain information and command Apple devices in a voice-driven way. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 - $264,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 2 year in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Experience and/or education must include:
  • Writing computer programs with data structures such as stacks, lists, trees, and graphs
  • Using machine learning, feature engineering, and artificial intelligence to build machine learning models
  • Python for model training, pipeline jobs, and to diagnose any issues
  • Concurrency and high-performance engineering for runtime systems
  • C++ and Java to create bug-free and highly efficient runtime systems
  • Objective-C and Swift to support on-device runtime systems
  • Unicode and software internationalization techniques
