Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Build features and fix bugs within the Music app for iOS. Leverage knowledge of Swift and UI frameworks to build performant and polished features that work on a wide range of devices and across many different languages. Work together with cross functional partners from server and Media Frameworks team collaborating new technologies to further improve the experience for users of the Music app. Work on the CarPlay experience for the Music app and ensure that new features are available there. Work on complex issues around playback and queue, asset loading and reporting, library performance and synching, and app usability. Implement amazing new features for our users that make their music listening experience simple and ubiquitous. Help define and implement groundbreaking new APIs for Apple's ecosystem, such as iOS, iPadOS, CarPlay, and visionOS. Implement new ways to interact and explore music on Spatial Computers. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 - $264,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer and Information Technology or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Utilizing Swift, Objective-C, C++, JavaScript to work on multi-language codebases.
  • Utilizing SwiftUI and UIKit to work on codebases using different User Interface frameworks with their very own behavior and set of APIs.
  • Utilizing GitHub for source code management and collaboration with peers.
  • Utilizing Xcode to make, build, and deploy changes directly to devices.
  • Using CoreAnimation to meticulously craft and synchronize animations within the user interface of the software.
  • Working with Accessibility features such as VoiceOver and Guided Access to ensure that software remains accessible to everyone.
  • Working with multiple and various type of User Interface inputs such as mouse, trackpad, and pencils to offer more advanced software features.
  • Using advanced Localization techniques, such as pluralization and right to left layout, to empower software and reach out to most people in the world.
