Build features, both user-facing and under the hood, and improve the quality of Apple Maps. Write software in Objective-C and Swift, which runs on iOS, macOS, and watchOS hardware and which displays user interfaces for customers to interact with Maps. Build these features completely from the ground up, writing all the new code, testing it, and putting it into production. Work with other engineers from different teams to write and review code, fix bugs, and iterate Maps app. Build new features for future release primarily related to customer's ability to personalize Apple Maps including saving items, and interacting with the basic controls to manipulate the different available views within the app. Build and maintain a feature in which a user can report an issue or submit a rating of a place anonymously thus allowing Apple Maps to gradually build up its own set of user-contributed point of interest rating data, as well as allowing users to submit photo. Work with the quality assurance team to conduct feature testing, debug issues, provide testing guidelines for QA as well as specific controls within the app for testing purposes, in addition to performance measurements using several Apple-provided profiling tools. Work with the design team to polish UI by finding edge cases and raising concerns about gaps in the design which are found while building features.
