Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Lead DevOps engineers to support systems for multiple applications in all environments including production and non-production. Build and maintain robust and highly available Continuous Integration pipelines. Automate build & deployment processes. Design and implement new software to streamline manual operations and enhance developer productivity for application management. Analyze and handle platform issues without causing customer impact. Improve operational readiness by performing root cause analysis of critical issues and creating long-term solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues for both cloud and on premises infrastructures. Collaborate on micro-service system architecture with cross-functional teams. Maintain scalable logging and monitoring infrastructure for deployed services. 40 hours/week.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 4 years of experience with each of the following skills:
  • Using Ansible, CI/CD pipeline and Terraform Automation of workflows to enhance the speed and reliability of software delivery.
  • Leveraging Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus to enable real-time issue identification and resolution through efficient monitoring and logging practices.
  • Using Docker, Kubernetes to deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications.
  • Utilizing SonarQube to guarantee robust security measures throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Using GSLB and Nginx load balancing to ensure data resilience and facilitates backup and recovery strategies on Cloud.
  • Utilizing Cloud tools such as AWS Cost Explorer to enable the monitoring, analysis, and control of costs.
  • Utilizing tools such as Git to facilitate collaborative code development, ensuring efficient code management, branching, and merging processes.
  • Using collaboration tools such as Slack to facilitate seamless collaboration between development and DevOps teams.
