APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Research, weigh, and apply practical cryptography algorithms to enhance internal and customer data security. Develop the next generation of cloud support that powers Apple Retail systems. Investigate, analyze, and respond to blockers of services, ensure the smooth operation of the services. Develop highly scalable applications and APIs to make sure micro services dock securely. Develop Python scripts to automate frequently conducted tasks. Serve as the security SME for one of the most profitable retail stores in the world. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,931 -$214,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security or related field.
- Experience and/or education must include:
- Performing penetration testing and ethical hacking using Python and Java-based tools to enhance system defenses against cyber attacks.
- Using network security protocols and technologies to secure remote access and data transmission.
- Developing and enforcing security policies and procedures
- Conducting threat modeling assessments and adhering to compliance frameworks to ensure software systems meet regulatory requirements.
- Analyzing and interpreting security reports and logs using Python and Java-based tools to identify and resolve security incidents.
