Description
APPLE INC has the following available in San Diego, California. Define HTTP APIs and implementing clientside business-logic layer to integrate with the APIs. Integrate iCloud products with customer facing native applications for macOS, iOS, and Web. Implement graphical user-interface elements on top of the business-logic layer to provide customers with the full capabilities of Apple technologies through a simple and intuitive user experience. Write unit, integration, accessibility, and automated tests for the features developed and adopt the best testing practices to resolve debugging issues. Review code submitted by peers on the team and debug and deliver the best possible application performance. Work with management and leadership to develop strategies and vision for the future of iCloud products on the web and other platforms. Interface with the macOS and iOS counterparts and Marketing, Program Management, UX, Localization, Server, SRE, and Security. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 - $210,100/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, or a related field and 6 months of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- Experience and/or education must include:
- Modern web technologies including HTML5, CSS, and TypeScript to design, debug, and implement features
- Single Page Web Application Development in Typescript/ES6 using frameworks such as including React.
- REST APIs.
- Integrating with web services using JSON, XML and AJAX.
- Developing secure web applications and knowledge of application vulnerabilities including Cross Site Scripting (XSS) or Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF)
- Writing robust and comprehensive unit tests, ensuring the quality and reliability of the applications
- Utilize logging and statistics tooling to provide insightful performance dashboards and create queries to identify and resolve site reliability issues.
- Maintaining legacy codebases, and provide relevant updates for performance upgrades
- Using Swift to work on integrating iCloud features to native applications
- Maintaining legacy code and integrate with new features that are developed on modern frameworks
- Contribute and maintain code repositories through efficient version control practices including branching and merging, repository management, conflict resolution, collaborating and provide code review to peers
