Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Seattle, Washington. Design and develop software to add and evaluate Siri (Apple voice assistant) features. Design, develop and maintain efficient and large-scale data processing solutions that populate a big data warehouse for Siri features training, validation, and analysis. Write high quality code and regularly critique and review others code to ensure quality and maintainability. Understand requirements from partner teams to build related tooling and processes to help them understand their product. Assist a team of data scientists and engineers by providing a product vision and guidance. Work with peers and management to plan and deliver cross-functional projects and multi-month roadmaps. Help other teams adopt a data-first mentality and help instill data excellence into processes and projects. International Travel Required 6%. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 - $250,600/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Programming language such as Scala, Java, C++, or C
  • System and object oriented design of distributed multithreaded applications
  • Relational database such as Oracle, SQL Server, or Postgres
  • Collecting system requirements and developing the design to fulfill them
  • Defining delivery phases and milestones, controlling execution and managing risks
