Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Research, design, and develop computer software and specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Responsible for architecting the internal and developer-facing features and interfaces used to deliver contextual instructional content to Apple's end users by understanding delivery requirements from stakeholders. Working with our team, Instructional Products, on engineering new and innovative software that will improve the ability of the OS, system apps, and services to educate users about new features by building informative and easy to use software. Work with a variety of teams across a broad array of Apple's deliverables, such as iOS, macOS, and watchOS. Working with the human interface team, as well as regularly work with our instructional designers, graphic designers, and localizations teams to deliver best in call applications. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 - $264,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Objective-C to properly deliver features developing computer software and specialized utility programs.
  • Swift to develop software and specialized utility platforms.
  • SwiftUI to develop features that deliver contextual information
  • Performance Tuning / Optimization for application delivery
  • Memory Tuning / Debugging to investigate a memory trace to determine both a root cause and implement resolution steps
  • Software Debugging for feature development and root cause analysis
  • Using coding languages, e.g. Obj-C, Swift, and SwiftUI, to scope requirements and tasks to complete work
  • Knowledge of agile software and practices that ensures stakeholders have visibility on progress
