APPLE INC has the following available in San Diego, California. Define, implement, and run tests to validate Hardware and Software for Thermal Control Systems on Apple products. Analyze automation test results for failures, identify issue trends, and quantify impact. Isolate and report defects effectively quantifying customer impact and verify fixes through regression testing and other test methodologies. Bring up new automation frameworks and maintain existing framework. Develop new automated test cases for new features as needed. Develop new data analysis tools to analyze large data set and represent meaningful data in the form of charts and graphs. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $152,027 - $204,000/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• 4 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
• Experience using Python development tools to automate triage/defect finding, perform data and log analysis.
• Developing BOT infrastructure using libraries like pandas, numpy, SciPy for analysis and Celery, Redis, and RabbitMQ for BOT.
• Experience with Python & C#, including automating tests and conducting log analysis, testing escape analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Running and automating performance and interovrobability tests in the Connectivity (Wi-Fi) domain.
• Performing Data Curation, Analysis, Cleaning and Visualization, including using visualization tools Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, StreamLit, Kibana, and Tableau.
• Experience in frontend developing GUI in Angular, Apache JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience in backend, including writing APIs in Python, interfaces, and WebServices; utilizing Flask, Django, and Gunicorn; experience in message broker system using RabbitMQ; and
• developing DB infrastructure in both SQL & NoSQL.
• Experience with DevOps for deploying applications and utilizing tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins & GitHub to streamline testing, and deployment processes.
• Deploying NLP models using lemmatization, random forest & cosine similarity for text classification.
