Description
As the Senior Tax Manager, you will manage all aspects of US and Canada's indirect taxes as well as US & Canadian DST's. You will also be responsible for leading Washington's B&O taxes. In this role you will track and implement new legislation and tax policy changes as well as manage the research and planning of new projects/processes for US and Canada. We are looking for an experience people leader who is able to collaborate with Legal, Technical Accounting, Privacy and other cross-functional business teams.

Minimum Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience compliance, audit, and research and planning experience
- 10+ years of experience manage a team of Tax professionals
- Experience with negotiating tax settlements and litigation with various jurisdictions
- Proven ability to collaborate with Legal, Technical Accounting, Privacy, and Business team
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA certification
- CMI and/or Masters degree in Tax
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of prior US and Canada indirect tax experience
- SAP, Vertex and CorpSales system experience
- Experience with worldwide intracompany indirect tax issues
- Experience with marketplace facilitator laws, digital goods, telecom taxes
- Strong analytical skills
- Collaborative orientation
- Tax research and policy change proficiency
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $216,000 and $324,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
