Description

As the Senior Tax Manager, you will manage all aspects of US and Canada's indirect taxes as well as US & Canadian DST's. You will also be responsible for leading Washington's B&O taxes. In this role you will track and implement new legislation and tax policy changes as well as manage the research and planning of new projects/processes for US and Canada. We are looking for an experience people leader who is able to collaborate with Legal, Technical Accounting, Privacy and other cross-functional business teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience compliance, audit, and research and planning experience
  • 10+ years of experience manage a team of Tax professionals
  • Experience with negotiating tax settlements and litigation with various jurisdictions
  • Proven ability to collaborate with Legal, Technical Accounting, Privacy, and Business team
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • CPA certification
  • CMI and/or Masters degree in Tax

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of prior US and Canada indirect tax experience
  • SAP, Vertex and CorpSales system experience
  • Experience with worldwide intracompany indirect tax issues
  • Experience with marketplace facilitator laws, digital goods, telecom taxes
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Collaborative orientation
  • Tax research and policy change proficiency
