Apple Information Security is looking for a software developer to work on innovative network security technologies deployed across our global infrastructure. This is a phenomenal opportunity for individuals seeking to learn, influence, and help develop security technologies, applications, and processes that secure Apple products and services! • Creativity, innovation and a persistent drive for results will be required to design innovative security capabilities that have no parallel. We are looking for a standout colleague who is able to take on challenges under tight deadline constraints and deliver imaginative solutions to complex problems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Significant programming experience with two or more of the following: Ruby, Python, Elixir, Java, Golang, Swift, C, C++, and/or objective-C programming languages
- Skilled in cloud technologies such as AWS or GCP, container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and Microservices
- Experience with machine learning, deep learning, behavioral analytics, and applied statistics
- Preparing and collecting data for training/analysis and ensuring data quality.
- 3+ years proven programming skills using standard ML tools and languages.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Experience with reading and writing SQL
- Comfort with macOS, Linux, or other Unix-based operating systems
- Strong test-driven approach to writing code
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Extraordinary debugging skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong experience with coding techniques and standard methodologies for security, performance optimization, and ease-of- use
- Experience with network architecture and programming
- Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning (including LLMs) and natural language processing.
- Experience with large scale distributed data processing frameworks like Hadoop and Spark/Flink Practical experience working with and conducting experiments on datasets then turning prototypes into production applications
- Bachelors in Computer Science, or related 5+ years industry experience
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
