Senior Product Manager, Financial Intelligence Platform

You'll be building tools that empower senior executive stakeholders, Sales and Sales Finance analysts and corporate financial planning and analysis teams across Apple to make data-driven decisions that shape our company's future. In this role, you will drive the strategic vision for financial analytics and reporting tools, partnering with full-stack engineering teams, engineering program managers, and QA to deliver insights that matter. You'll work directly with finance stakeholders across all organizational levels, from analysts to executives, to define and execute a multi-year product roadmap.
Description
This role will chart the strategic direction of one of our products and support execution against that long-term strategy. You will partner directly with Product Design, Engineering, Quality and Support teams, in addition to multiple cross-functional teams across Apple, to define and deliver on a multi-year product roadmap. This candidate will need to excel in strategic planning, product execution and operational efficiency. A successful fit will have a demonstrated history of managing technical product initiatives through efficient feature prioritization and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to both technical and cross-functional stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Lead and evangelize the vision for a comprehensive product strategy for one of our products, unlocking new insights and capabilities through the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable data points
- Manage the product lifecycle from ideation through launch and beyond, including product strategy, road mapping, feature definition, and go-live strategy
- Conduct extensive market research & analyze industry trends to drive product decisions
- Create and deliver presentations to executive leadership, outlining the vision and roadmap of the product
- Facilitate communications with Worldwide partners across various Sales and Finance teams to understand their goals and challenges, and translate them into requirements
- Spearhead prioritization
- Collaborate with program management to communicate project status, resolve issues, align with department standards and ensure that high quality products are delivered on time
- Ability to work in an agile team with a 'hands-on' approach, including testing and debugging of the product's features
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in product management of high-visibility products
- Proven track record of managing product development lifecycles, building complex products with various cross functional partners including engineering, design and business stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to drive and capture business requirements into technical specifications
- Experience prioritizing competing requirements and managing roadmaps
- Comfort working with data and basic understanding of analytics concepts
- Hands-on experience in applying data analytics in Sales, Finance, Supply Chain or Demand Management
- Ability to work effectively with engineering teams on complex technical products
- Proven track record of stakeholder management across different organizational levels, from Senior Leadership to Financial Analysts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related field
- Ability to travel internationally as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in finance, fintech, or business intelligence tools
- Understanding of corporate finance, FP&A, or sales finance processes
- Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, or budgeting workflows
- Strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to continually innovate and improve the product
- Experience taking AI/ML-driven insights and capabilities from ideation to production
- Familiarity with machine learning product lifecycle and model deployment considerations
- Background working with data science teams and ML engineers to deliver intelligent features
- SQL knowledge or experience with data analysis tools
- Familiarity with BI platforms (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
- Understanding of data pipelines, APIs, and system integrations
- 5+ years product management experience with data/analytics products specifically
- Experience serving enterprise customers or internal business users
- Master's degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Finance or related field
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
