Description
In this role, you will define requirements and drive the roadmap for AI capabilities serving multiple Apple Services. You'll partner closely with engineering to deliver powerful, reliable capabilities - and with product and design teams to craft experiences that feel effortless, personal, and trusted. You'll balance the needs of developers and end users, connecting technical capabilities to user-centric outcomes across services like Music, TV+, Podcasts, App Store, and more. You will lead through influence, collaborate across disciplines, and relentlessly focus on delivering value to our customers. This is an individual contributor role with broad scope and visibility, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, product, and experience. You will work across multiple engineering teams and collaborate tightly with other product managers to define, prioritize, and deliver AI capabilities that scale across our ecosystem.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of product management experience, including platform and customer-facing product leadership.
- Strong technical foundation, with the ability to engage deeply on AI capabilities.
- Familiarity with human-centered AI design and responsible AI principles.
- Hands-on experience working with generative AI technologies such as large language models, diffusion models, or multimodal systems.
- Proven track record of launching complex technical products at scale in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Deep understanding of customer needs, maintained by regularly absorbing feedback, research, and insights from multiple sources.
- Skilled at synthesizing problems, insights, and opportunities into clear goals and plans that articulate both the "why" and the "how."
- Able to shape information to the appropriate level of detail and communicate it effectively-whether in writing, verbally, or through presentations-to drive desired outcomes.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills; able to align diverse teams around a shared vision while confidently standing behind great ideas with clarity and conviction.
- Demonstrated ability to complete tasks quickly and independently with few iterations, pivoting easily when priorities shift; known for meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience fostering a culture of creativity and innovation, continuously seeking new ideas and approaches to solve problems.
- History of delivering measurable, meaningful outcomes that drive success for the product, product area, or team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building platforms or developer-facing products supporting multiple consumer applications.
- Experience delivering AI-powered features in media, content, or services environments.
- Background in machine learning, natural language understanding, or related technical fields.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $195,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
