Description
The Cloud Products and Platform EPM will work closely with several Engineering leaders to drive key initiatives. You will: - Partner with multiple Engineering leads and Business, Growth teams to drive cross functional programs through delivery; inclusive of timelines, planning, requirements, and dependencies. - Manage risks, mitigations, and drive alignment across the organization and between teams - Provide clear, timely and objective communication, including regular program status updates and critical issues as needed to executive team - Coordinate discussions and break down complex issues into discussion topics to drive engineering and design alignment with support from project team - Proactively identify issues and solutions, and mobilize resources necessary to attack and resolve. Coordinate with teams to identify issues, prioritize tasks and track risks to schedule and product quality, including cross-functional dependencies
Responsibilities
- Drive and ship large, multi-functional programs and features for iCloud
- Lead all aspects of multiple concurrent features including scope, requirements, timelines, and resource allocation
- Foster collaboration across a broad team of XF partners to formulate roadmap and manage intake of new feature asks. Help set the strategy and communicate status and issues to stakeholders at all levels.
- Bring clarity by creating plans, driving the team to execute on those plans, setting goals and expectations, and removing roadblocks.
- Influence and build relationships with team members in all functional areas and levels of the organization-engineering, business, product, legal, marketing, design, and leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS/MS/PhD CS/CE/EE or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in product / program / project management successfully leading highly cross-functional software development
- Strong analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills to engineers, managers, and execs
- Identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, and facilitating resolutions
- Sound technical foundation and a highly motivated self-starter
- Knowledge of software engineering standard methodologies and related dependencies
- Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire team members

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading large, complex programs; from requirements gathering, collaboration with product and design teams, through software development and release qualification while maintaining a high bar for quality.
- Experience working in subscriber growth related features with a strong product sense and data-informed decision making. Strong ability to connect data insights to customer problems, and propose potential new features.
- Experience managing cross-org dependencies across multiple engineering, product, design and business teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of influencing stakeholders and driving alignment across large, matrixed organizations.
- Self-motivated and proactive, demonstrating creative problem-solving, critical thinking, and an intellectually curious approach to challenges.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
