Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Define and deliver business process solutions within the high-tech industry with focus on discrete manufacturing processes, including factory operations, efficiencies, and up-time requirements. Provide end-to-end business solution support for supply chain strategies, including requirements, factory operations, user-testing for developed solutions, Act as a liaison between the Product Operations, Engineering Program Management, Trade Compliance teams and IS&T (Information Systems and Technology) to ensure that the business requirements are complete and met by the proposed technology solutions. Implement new ideas effectively within the Apple culture. Influence decisions and change management through collaboration, leadership and a customer-focused approach. Manage complex projects supporting business processes for supply chain management, manufacturing, and factory operations involving regional resources across 3 continents to major milestones. Develop project justification proposals, business cases and return on investment estimates. Obtain executive approval and funding for supply chain management, manufacturing, and factory operations. Gather and synthesize detailed, global business requirements and design specifications. Align Worldwide and Regional teams to ensure enablement process and technical requirements fulfill the needs of the various Apple constituencies across the globe. Facilitate project-related testing, roll-out, training, and post-mortem work. Addresses escalations, quickly assess and develop root cause analysis and solve problems for operations escalations. International Travel Required 5%. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $223,538 - $258,700/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 4 years of experience in each of the following skills is required:
  • Working with supply chain processes, including experience in Supply Chain Diversification, identifying suppliers and mitigating geopolitical and Act of God risks in supply chain operations
  • Developing business process solutions within the high-tech industry with focus on discrete manufacturing processes, including factory operations, efficiencies, and up-time requirements.
  • Utilizing and demonstrating technical understanding of manufacturing software, including shop floor, manufacturing execution and warehouse management utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Performing validation and user acceptance testing for business process solutions implements for manufacturing and supply chain operations
  • Leading collaborations between IT and Business stakeholders to implement test plans for developed Supply Chain tools.
  • Creating business requirement documents and capturing enhancement requests after software releases.
  • Leading business process re-engineering initiatives, including creating project plans, defining milestones, managing project budgets, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
