Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Define and drive new product initiatives that allow customers worldwide to easily make secure purchases in stores, in apps and on the web. Combine technical fluency, a strong sense of user experience, tact and business insight to work on both traditional and new payment methods and flows. Collaborate with Engineering, Business Development, Legal, and many other teams across Apple. Specifically, collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop strategic product and feature roadmaps. Serve as the internal evangelist, building consensus with executives, colleagues, and third parties. Define detailed use cases intended for engineering and design. Represent business interests during design and development phases. Work with program management to communicate project status, resolve issues, and ensure that high quality products are delivered on time. Develop launch plans, ensuring the readiness of the various stakeholders. Measure and report on the efficacy of initiatives and develop action plans accordingly. 40 hours/week.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Management, Business Administration or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Management, Business Administration or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- Defining and driving product initiatives: collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop strategic product and feature roadmaps. Internally evangelize, building consensus with executives, colleagues, and third parties. Defining detailed use cases intended for engineering and design.
- Using technical fluency with API specifications (understand technical complexities involved in potential solutions being discussed, so tradeoffs are made within business constraints) and user experience (to help oversee payments UX management in collaboration with design team), to work on both traditional and new payment methods and flows.
- Developing strategic product and feature roadmaps: own features or smaller roadmaps, manage the product lifecycle, collecting ideas, prioritizing them, and adding them to the roadmap.
- Defining detailed use cases intended for engineering and design: detailed customer journey with the expected behavior of payment method, calling out exceptions and documentation of the use-cases.
- Developing launch plans: provide help for launch teams with high level test use-cases and provide expectation on the result for success and failure journeys.
- Measuring and reporting on the efficacy of initiatives and developing action plans accordingly. Pickup SQL, Splunk queries to modify existing dashboards or collaborate with analytics to build a metric driven dashboard.
- Representing business interests during design and development phases. Working with program management to communicate project status, resolve issues, and ensure that high quality products are delivered on time.
- Developing launch plans, ensuring readiness of the various partners. Measuring and reporting on the efficacy of initiatives and developing action plans accordingly.
