Description

We are looking for a strong candidate to join the Platform Product Management team in Apple's Silicon Engineering Group. This highly visible role is at the center of time-critical SoC validation efforts collaborating with all areas, with direct impact on getting the Apple silicon delivered in the final products. This Product Management Engineer will be responsible for the deliverables and resource management of our fast-growing FPGA and Emulation platforms. Deliverables include the entire product cycle for each platform: collect feature requirements from customers, finalize the release schedule, track execution, drive post-release debug & post-mortem, and finally, close tape-out sign-off with all customers. Resource management will entail preparing platform forecast for annual budget, ensuring platform resources are optimally utilized, and tracking forecast-vs-actual utilization and return on investment. In this dynamic multiple supplier/client-interfacing role, you will orchestrate the following activities on day-to-day basis: -Define for each SoC program the platform deliverables, their requirements and release schedules working with customers, development teams spanning multiple areas and geographic locations -Work directly with the internal team to ensure execution and release to customers -Drive post-release debug activities to closure -Close platform sign-off with customers -Drive post-mortem analysis and present to involved parties -Prepare FPGA and Emulation forecast for annual budget preparation -Analyze and track actual-vs-forecast and ROI for all platforms -Present platform deliverables and resources status in various executive briefings.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field with 10 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in Design, DV, FPGA/Emulation or Silicon Validation projects
  • Familiarity with emulation and FPGA technologies is a plus
  • Strong multi-tasker, enabled to influence without authority
  • Collaborative, lead-by-example approach with a proactive and team-first mindset
  • Creative and critical problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to translate data into clear, audience-specific insights, including presentation for executives

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
