The Marcom Production Operations team (MPO) is a technically focused production service org which covers everything from device management and R&D to media operations and signal flow on productions. The teams behind these areas help to deliver world class productions across all business lines on technically complex projects with creative that pushes the limits on what is possible. We're seeking a team member that can work with us to deliver these projects with a focus on the customer experience while keeping a sense of curiosity and humbleness that continues to help the team innovate and grow. The Marcom Photo Tech Engineer works within the MPO group and supports video production and photography projects.This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop tools, workflows, and solutions to meet dynamic production needs.

Description

Provide technical expertise for Marcom's photo and video productions of marketing, presentation, and testing content for both released and unreleased products.Develop workflows, security protocols, and file management systems for new OS and product features. Support creative teams with image processing, including color and quality assurance. RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate across teams, offering insights and technical guidance throughout production Provide Digital Technician support on various photo shoots Create tools to expedite processing of thousands of assets, identifying key features, and reduce human error Have good judgment and follow security practices to protect our unreleased images

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years in a technical production role, including experience as a digital tech
  • 7+ years of programming experience, including developing tools for production environments
  • Experience building tools around camera features, such as lens, shutter speed, or aperture Swift; ability to adapt tools and workflows quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of camera systems, lenses, lighting, and DSLR sensors
  • Extensive experience with Apple hardware/software, specifically within photography and video production

Preferred Qualifications

  • Skilled at troubleshooting Apple devices and camera issues on set
  • Proven experience in project management and delivering high-quality results under pressure
  • Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in dynamic production environments
  • Familiarity with Apple's eXtreme Dynamic Range and other advanced imaging features
  • Experience working with producers, DPs, and creatives in a production setting
  • Apple Lead Genius experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Photography, Programming, or related field

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,800 and $221,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
