Reimagine marketing for Apple Retail! We are seeking a Future Initiatives Marketing Strategist who has experience identifying, developing and mobilizing innovative marketing strategies that drive customer engagement, conversion, loyalty, and brand equity across digital and physical channels. The ideal candidate is highly innovative, solution oriented, insights driven and able to drive ground-breaking marketing strategies forward in an ambiguous and growth-focused environment. As the Marketing Strategist, Future Retail Initiatives you will identify, assess and mobilize leading-edge marketing opportunities for Apple Retail - driving global customers to apple.com, the Apple Store online, in the Apple Store app, and in over 500 stores worldwide. In this role you will: - Establish and develop innovative global and region-based marketing strategies that expand reach, increase engagement and conversion by leveraging emerging marketing techniques and technologies - Future-cast marketing for Apple Retail, citing external marketing research, internal insights, projecting customer needs and accommodating for shifting environments to inform future marketing strategies and roadmap - Develop boundary-pushing marketing solutions for cross functional partners by building bespoke marketing strategies that drive awareness on Apple Retail's largest-scale initiatives - Influence leadership across Apple through strategic presentations that clearly communicate research, business opportunity, marketing vision and strategy - Pitch marketing opportunities that leverage new vehicles and emerging technologies disrupting legacy methods to connect with customers where they are - Partner with world-class technical experts to identify and mobilize opportunities that unlock speed, efficiency and flexibility solutions that scale with our growing business

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience developing global marketing strategies
  • Track record of demonstrating deep understanding of business priorities, challenges and nuances to develop, sell-in and launch a bespoke marketing vision and strategy
  • Proven ability in designing strategic frameworks that reveal opportunities, align cross functional teams, and connect insights across people, data, and workflows to drive innovative solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years in global marketing strategy for a leading retail brand
  • Passion for staying up to date on future and emerging global and regional marketing trends and technologies, even beyond what is possible today
  • Deep understanding of evolving customer behaviors and needs, considering macro trends, shifting habits and market nuances
  • A core competency to influence in a matrixed organization, with capacity to mobilize, influence, and inspire cross functional and global teams
  • Extraordinary storyteller with strong written and verbal communication skills; strong at building and delivering compelling presentations
  • History of being flexible and resourceful, demonstrating the ability to comfortably dive into any internal or external research, develop a deep understanding, and incorporate into marketing strategy "

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
