Description

Apple's Wireless Software team is seeking dedicated, highly motivated and self-driven manager to work on groundbreaking wireless technologies! This position involves growing and managing a wireless technologies team and your primary responsibility is to oversee large-scale engineering projects and drive innovation that significantly impacts the industry. Your duties will include developing a comprehensive project plan, coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing multiple partners across different countries, and growing an international team. You will be responsible for analyzing product features with regional partners and regulatory requirements, providing feedback on how they intersect with Apple's roadmap.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-10 years hands on experience in wireless development/system engineering.
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronics/Communications Engineering, or equivalent majors.
  • Experience managing large-scale complex projects in a fast paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A successful track-record or demonstrated aptitude as a Software Engineering Manager.
  • Passion for diving into hard problems and guiding others to build novel solutions.
  • Experience collaborating and providing feedback on technical architecture design while defining the long-term technical strategy.
  • Actively coached and inspired a team of Software Engineers.
  • Strong communications skills and experience in partner management.
  • An understanding of the broader smart home market is beneficial.
  • Certification and compliance experience is a plus.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $173,100 and $301,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
