Apple is seeking an experienced manager to lead a team of Engineering Program Managers that own customer demand, capacity and strategic cloud platform planning for Apple's cloud infrastructure. You will lead a team of high performing program managers who are responsible for the planning of large-scale cloud services infrastructure, platforms, and networking that enable all of Apple's services. Key Qualifications

  • Proven track record not just in delivering programs, but also in defining, owning, and driving new strategic initiatives across an organization
  • Experience managing a team of technical program/project managers responsible for taking features through the complete software development life cycle
  • High-level of technical competency and experience collaborating "hands-on" with highly technical teams

Description

We are looking for a manager of program management to help shape the future of Apple's cloud platforms and services. In this position you'll build an company-wide vision for how Apple plans and builds its internal cloud platforms, including forecasting, demand and capacity planning, and platform build-outs to ensure the best possible experience for Apple's engineers. This will involve building consensus across all of Apple's cloud teams, finance, procurement, global networking and DC teams, from engineer to senior leadership. This is a hands-on role working with the engineering org, as well as site-reliability engineering, business & finance, and operational teams. You are the thread tying these disparate teams together to deliver end-to-end initiatives that improve our internal cloud products globally. You will lead a team that is involved in all aspects of the project life-cycle, whether it be helping develop functional requirements, getting into the detailed analysis, facilitating proofs-of-concept, or global platform delivery. You build positive relationships; you are aware of politics but do not get mired in them; you are constantly looking to improve yourself and your team; you see around corners; and you deliver.

Education & Experience

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or deep relevant industry experience

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,400.00 and $289,800.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
