The ASO Operations team is seeking a Manager for the Optimization team. Reporting to the ASO Operations Optimization Leader, the ideal candidate will lead a team focused on driving cross-functional projects to optimize content production processes and systems, ensuring the delivery of high-quality product and marketing content across various online platforms and apps worldwide. This role requires a skilled influencer and change agent, able to anticipate challenges and advocate for agile, scalable, and efficient content creation and distribution workflows. This position requires attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Description

Lead, manage, and grow the team responsible for driving projects and initiatives that enable the creation and distribution of accurate, culturally relevant digital assets for ASO and other e-commerce platforms. Ensure the digital customer experience consistently meets the highest standards of quality and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in Product Management, Engineering, Portfolio Planning & Management, Marketing Finance, and Legal. Key responsibilities include: - Cultivating a positive and motivating work environment by promoting teamwork, diversity, and inclusion, while fostering strong employee relationships. Coach, guide, and support each team member in their growth and career development. - Ensuring the testing and delivery of new platform features and capabilities that enhance digital customer shopping experiences on ASO, meeting business expectations and being implemented on-time and within budget. - Driving and securing cross-functional buy-in on plans to ensure systems and processes are optimized for executing the creation of product copy and rich media assets (images, videos) for ASO product launches, campaigns, and promotions. - Building and owning effective management systems to continuously improve and optimize the digital content production workforce, enabling agility, efficiency, and scalability.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in operations management, digital content production, test automation, or related fields, with at least 2 years of experience leading a team of individual contributors
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience leading change and driving the adoption of new systems, tools, and processes within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively to senior leadership and partners.
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Operations, Technology, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with e-commerce publishing platforms and/or applications.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully meeting deadlines and driving projects to completion on time and within budget.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to identify challenges in scaling operations and create technology-based solutions.
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle and methodologies.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,500 and $279,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
