Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Research, design, develop or test new machine learning and computer vision algorithms, for example: Hand gesture recognition for camera/photos applications. Improve existing machine learning and computer vision algorithms. Implement algorithms in software and optimize the performance and quality on iOS and MacOS. Implement and optimize algorithms on different generations of iOS and MacOS hardware architecture. Develop system and frameworks to process and analyze media content. Design experiments to measure the quality and performance of the implemented algorithms. Adjust and tune algorithms based on data-driven quality and performance trade-offs. Program and maintain software in C/C++, Objective C and Python. Design and build tests, build automated tests, Debug and fix software issues. Communicate and coordinate with other employees, able to work jointly with others. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,931 - $214,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Experience and/or education must include the following:
• Software development and debugging skills to implement the algorithms in product software.
• Utilizing in computer architecture for software optimization.
• Experience in optimizing neural networks for neural network design.
• Experience in computer vision algorithm development such as object recognition to detect human face, human hands, and image video super resolution to improve overall quality.
• Utilizing machine learning and deep learning to detect interesting segment of a movie, rate videos according to its interestingness.
• C and C++ programming language to implement the product software algorithms.
• Utilizing shipping machine intelligence for user facing products.
