Legal Document and Contract Intelligence Program Leader

The Legal and Global Security Operations (LGS) team is seeking a Legal Document and Contract Intelligence Program Leader to product manage the current LGS Operations Document and Contract system portfolio as well as drive progress on transformation roadmap initiatives. This role will lead and manage a diverse portfolio of legal operations organizational and technology initiatives, including Document Management, Contract Management, Workflow Management, Knowledge Management, and Change Management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of legal technology and its application in the legal industry, as well as strong strategy, analytical and problem-solving skills. This position requires a strong ability to manage a diverse team, collaborate cross-functionally, lead strategic initiatives, and develop and manage innovative solutions.
Description
The role requires a deep understanding of legal operations, technology, and strategy to drive a Portfolio that improves operational efficiency, promote regulatory compliance, and mitigate risk including but not limited to the following responsibilities: - Product manage current Document and Contract Intelligence portfolio including current document management, contract management, and eSignature solutions - Develop, socialize, and implement an overarching strategy, playbook, and operating model - Own the implementation and optimization of AI-driven document intelligence solutions for contracts, including analysis and workflow automation - Own, promote, and develop an enterprise level Document and Contract Intelligence Center of Excellence, driving strategy, curating and maintaining knowledge, and fostering increased cross functional engagement - Own Apple's electronic signature, NDA, and other internal platforms and related workflows - Initiate, develop, and maintain relationships with vendors including but not limited to implementation partners and product teams - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure contract compliance and mitigate risk - Maintain up to date knowledge on industry leading practice and emerging legal technologies, particularly around AI and document intelligence

Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience across document management, contract management, AI, and legal operations
- Deep experience with contract and other document-type lifecycles, technologies, and implementation, including full lifecycle product and solution management
- Deep, proven Program and Portfolio Management, strategy, and operations leadership skills, including but not limited to: managing teams, obtaining cross-functional and Leadership alignment, strategic planning, and project management
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with particular emphasis on executive influence, storytelling, and driving consensus
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency and ability to product manage electronic signature platforms (e.g., DocuSign, Adobe Sign)
- Demonstrated experience with AI-powered contract management and document intelligence workflows
- Holistic experience across legal operations, with particular emphasis on Knowledge Management and Workflow Management
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $182,500 and $274,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
