Learning & Development Program Manager - Hardware Engineering

We are looking for someone to help drive the expansion, implementation, and facilitation of our employee development and technical programs. This role requires strong program management and facilitation expertise, along with a collaborative approach to partnering with senior leaders and cross functional teams across Apple.

Description

In this role, you will expand current initiatives and programs designed to enhance the experience and development of all HWE employees, ranging from those who are very early in their careers to senior leadership. We are searching for someone who is eager to help others, has strong facilitation skills, and enjoys solving complex problems while obsessing over every detail. You will blend your understanding of Apple culture with data on the best strategies to strengthen existing HWE programs. You should be able to effectively prioritize, drive decisions, and problem solve while working both collaboratively and individually. You will also need to use data to track the efficacy of initiatives, implement methods of collecting feedback, and apply what you learn to continuously iterate, change, and improve programs and practices. You should be comfortable influencing a diverse and passionate group, ranging from executives to those early in their careers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years creating and facilitating technical trainings, with comfort speaking in front of large, diverse, and global audiences
  • Self-starter who is meticulous, highly organized, creative, excited to deal with ambiguity, and flourishes in a highly dynamic environment
  • Experience with influencing senior leadership, preferably in a technical organization, while leading large-scale programs from concept to completion
  • Proven success building meaningful business relationships, leading global cross-functional teams, and managing partner expectations
  • Able to think critically, especially when exploring and evaluating solutions and making data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication skills and good at conveying information in a variety of formats to multiple different audiences
  • Anticipates the needs of others and can foresee and prevent possible issues prior to program implementation
  • Able to effectively prioritize and allocate attention among multiple tasks while adhering to strict schedules and program deadlines
  • Comfortable receiving and implementing feedback to continuously improve, striving for excellence
  • Passionate about creating inclusive workspaces and developing and mentoring people

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background or prior experience in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, Technical Training, Organizational Leadership, or a related field

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $118,500 and $244,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
